Congratulations to Doug Weight for winning the 2011 King Clancy Memorial Trophy.
The trophy is presented annually to the player who “best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.” Despite his injuries this season, Weight’s leadership and presence were still evident on game day and in practice with the team.
