Your
New York Islanders training camp will open on Thursday, 9/18 for player photos,
physicals and logistics while the on-ice action starts on Friday. Players will be broken into three groups for evaluation
levels and inter-squad play. The Isles
will have three scrimmage games against the Senators, Hurricanes and
Devils. The game against the Devils will
be another face off in Brooklyn.
To
my knowledge, I saw nothing on possible camp invites at the time of this blog
entry. Arthur Staple mentioned there is
nothing cooking on the controversial “Veteran Defensemen Needed,” front. No worries though, I’m sure there will be
lots of news to watch for later in the week.
