Recap of Preseason Games 4 & 5

The line-up for the Devils:

The Devils scored about mid-way through the first after one of numerous power plays they would experience throughout the game.  Hedberg outdueled DiPietro in the contest as the Devils held on to a 1-0 lead until time expired.  With little video of Devils-Islanders game, there will be no disciplinary action taken against Ryan Strome for his hit on Stephen Gionta.

Casey Cizikas and Andrew MacDonald made their preseason debut vs. the Bruins in Brideport.
The Islanders started the game strong with John Tavares and Marty Reasoner grabbing a two goal lead.  Al Montoya was strong in net shutting out Boston.  Evgeni Nabokov took over for the second half of the game.  The Bruins turned up the pressure in the second period and never looked back.  They stormed back to win the Game 3-2.
