Isles Invite Pandolfo

Jay Pandolfo has accepted an invitation to the New York Islanders,  2011 Training Camp.  He is attending on a try out basis and at 36 years old, the 6’1, 200 pound left wing could bring another veteran presence to a young Islander team poised to take the next step.
Selected by New Jersey Devils in the second round, #32 overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, Pandolfo spent 14 years of his professional career with the New Jersey Devils, winning two Stanley Cups. Pandolfo has tallied 99 and 124 assists for 223 points in his career thus far. With the New Jersey Devils, he has played in 131 career Stanley Cup Playoff games scoring 11 and 22 for 33 points.
